About our product
Let children discover more about missions to Mars with the LEGO Technic Mars Crew Exploration Rover (42180) building set.
This detailed Mars rover is made for children aged 11 and over who love space travel, technology and adventurous building sets. The model is packed with realistic features that allow young explorers to learn about space research and vehicles for missions to Mars in a playful way.
The rover can be unfolded to reveal the cargo area. Kids can test the suspension as they steer the vehicle into position and then use the crane to lift the robot rover, tools and fuel reactor.
Inside you will find the living space for the crew, with seating, shower, toilet, treadmill and refrigerator. The model also includes a lift function, recycle and sample containers, plus gas and water bottles for extra realistic play options.
The set also includes a special space airlock, which allows kids to connect other compatible LEGO space sets. This way they can further expand their own space base or Mars mission with sets that are available separately.
Using the LEGO Builder app, children can view the model in 3D while building, zoom in, rotate it, track their progress and save the set.
With 1,599 pieces, this set offers a fun and challenging building experience for kids who love space toys, NASA-inspired vehicles and tech features.
