Let kids bring their own construction site to life with the LEGO Technic Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator (42175) building set.
This detailed set is made for children aged 10 and over who love trucks, excavators and large construction vehicles. The set includes a Volvo FMX truck, a low loader, an electric excavator and a charging station to make construction site stories even more realistic.
The truck is full of nice technical details. Children can open the doors, tilt the cabin and view the 6-cylinder engine with moving pistons. They can then steer the truck, disconnect the trailer and fold down the ramp to drive the excavator off.
The excavator also has many playable features. The doors can be opened, the top can rotate 360 degrees on the tracks and with the pneumatic pump, children can move the bucket up and down.
The charging station makes the play story extra modern. The model is not motorized, but kids can use their imaginations to lift the charging station with the bucket and chains and pretend to charge the electric excavator.
With 2,274 parts, this LEGO Technic set offers a large and challenging building experience for young builders who love to discover how vehicles, movement and technology work together.
Through the LEGO Builder app, children can view the model digitally in 3D, zoom in, rotate and track their construction progress.
The completed model measures approximately 3" (8cm) high, 24" (68cm) long and 5" (13cm) wide.
