The model consists of 4 floors full of apartments, shops, restaurants, and a mechanical workshop. Some parts can be detached, allowing children to play with them separately. The set also includes 2 working cranes that can move parts and armor pieces up and down between floors.

For the first time, a NINJAGO City model includes an adjustable mech that can be built, customized, and decorated with armor and stickers. After building, the mech can be placed on a platform in the mech bay, adding even more display value to the model.
