About our product
Get ready for a huge build and play experience with the LEGO Technic Liebherr R 9800 Excavator (42100) building set.
This impressive excavator model was developed in collaboration with Liebherr and is packed with advanced features. With 4,108 parts, 7 motors and 2 smart hubs, this set offers a large and technical building challenge for LEGO Technic fans, machine enthusiasts and collectors.
The Liebherr R 9800 Excavator is controlled via the LEGO Technic CONTROL+ app. Via your smart device you can drive the excavator, steer it, rotate the superstructure, move the boom and open or tilt the excavator bucket.
The app has different control screens for extra fun. The multi-function control allows you to drive the machine in all directions, rotate the superstructure and view real-time feedback such as boom position, power consumption and distance traveled.
With the one touch control you can use dragging movements on the screen to operate the boom, arm and bucket. You can also choose preset movements or record movements yourself to create complex actions.
The set also includes challenges and rewards in the app, giving you additional ways to use and explore the model. Realistic sound effects make the playing experience even more lively.
The model has an authentic color scheme, cool sticker details and many functions that match the real Liebherr R 9800 excavator. Batteries are required, but not included.
The completed model is approximately 39cm high, 65cm long and 27cm wide.
