About our product
Build a huge crane full of working features with the LEGO Technic Rough Terrain Crane (42082) building set.
This impressive all-terrain crane offers a large and challenging building experience for LEGO Technic fans who love machines, technology and realistic movements. The model was the largest and tallest LEGO Technic crane to date in August 2018 and is packed with smart features to discover.
With the LEGO Power Functions large motor you can control various motorized functions. You can choose between upper and lower crane modes, allowing you to lower the stabilizer legs, rotate the superstructure 360 degrees, operate the hoisting winch and raise the extendable boom up to approximately 1 meter high.
In addition to the motorized functions, the model also has many manual details. Think of 4 wheel steering, 4 wheel drive, a V8 engine with moving pistons and fan, adjustable mirrors and a detailed cabin with an opening door.
The crane also contains 2 storage compartments with tools, chains and a fire extinguisher. You also get 4 support plates and 4 LEGO Technic building parts that can be lifted and moved with the crane.
This set has a cool red and black color scheme and can be converted into a Mobile Pile Driver as a 2 in 1 model. This means the set offers extra building fun and more ways to display or use the model.
With more than 4,050 parts, this is a major building project for experienced LEGO Technic builders and collectors.
The Rough Terrain Crane is approximately 100 cm high, 66 cm long and 26 cm wide in working position. In driving position the model is approximately 27 cm high, 76 cm long and 20 cm wide.
