About our product

Discover the world of technology with the LEGO Technic Heavy-duty Tow Truck (42128) building set.

This impressive tow truck is full of realistic details and working functions. The model is inspired by classic heavy tow trucks and has a cool look with a recognizable grille, air filters, lights, exhaust pipe and fresh colors.

Under the hood you will find a 6-cylinder in-line engine with moving pistons. You can control the truck by turning the pin on the roof, making the model extra fun to build and explore.

The tow truck has various pneumatic and mechanical functions. You can operate the crane, pump up the boom, pull out the winch and extend the support legs.

A special detail is the liftable axle, which lowers additional wheels to better distribute the weight with heavy loads. This was the first time such a feature was used in a LEGO Technic model.

This set is a fun choice for children and teens aged 11 and over who love mechanical vehicles. It is also an interesting building project full of technology and smart functions for adult LEGO Technic fans.

The completed model measures approximately 8" tall with the crane down, 20" long with the boom down and 5" wide with the outriggers folded.
